Error on Agent: taskList Unexpected XML
Both of these errors coincide with each other.
fix
Errors occur if the agent cant communicate with the PLUS or PLHOST during replication. This can be a temporary network issue, or after a reboot if the agent service starts before the NIC and services start.
In a couple of cases, the Hosts file contained a wrong IP address for novell.patchlink.com causing replication to fail.
