Unable to create mail file mail\NotesUser.nsf
Unable to open mail file (mail\NotesUser.nsf) from template (mail6.ntf). ID = 4063. Message: Database CN=Notes_Remote_Server/O=Notes_Organization!!mail6.ntf has not been opened yet.
When specifying a remote Notes server in the 'Notes Mail Server Name' field of the driver configuration, the driver is unable to create a mail file on the remote Notes server.
fix
This issue has been resolved by doing one or more of the following:
- Verify that the Notes user used to authenticate the driver has rights to create a mail file on the remote Notes server. This can be done by being authenticated to Notes with the user and registering a user in Notes with a remote Notes server specified for the mail file.
- Update the DNS server so that it can resolve the name of the remote Notes server.
- Make the Notes server name equivalent to the name of the physical server Notes is running on.
- Re-install remote loader and the Notes driver instance.
