IBM Server with ServeRaid 6i Controller Hangs after installing NW65SP2 or NW65SP3
Server will hang on bootup.
The error on the logger screen will be "The critical component (SGUID.NLM) was not loaded or executed or is missing. NetWare cannot function without this component"
fix
Update the BIOS of the IBM Server. IBM has released a patch available from their website please follow the link below.
If you complete the bios update and the server now comes up with a collon prompt ":" instead of the server name then go to TID 10093547
