symptom

Error: Unable to instantiate ScriptBroker module: 80040154

cause

During the install SecureLogin was unable to register slbroker with the OS.

SecureLogin was installed with a silent installation (setup.exe -s). Silent installations will not require the user to reboot, even if SecureLogin was unable to register slbroker.

fix

To manually register slbroker, open a command prompt and type.

slbroker.exe /regserver

Restarting Windows will also resolve this problem.
