symptom

Login script entry:  MAP ROOT H:=\\server\volume\USERS\%CN

Some users get mappings, and some do not.

cause

Troubleshooting using the login script write command to print out the variables we discovered if the user had an "Other Name" attribute entry CN% was using that entry.

fix

Removing the Other Name entry fixed the issue.
