Server abends loading the disk drivers

Novell NetWare 6

IBM X 245 and X 235 servers with 5i and 6i controllers

Server would only see the problem if the SYS volume was NSS. If the SYS volume was Leagcy it would not see the problem.

cause

Disk drivers and BIOS were out of date

fix

Update the BIOS and Disk Drivers from IBM's site.
