Nal crashes when selecting ZENworks middle tier login from Nal icon in systray
fact
Novell ZENworks for Desktops 4 - ZFD4
Novell Application Launcher (NAL)
symptom
If you do a workstation only login, then select the option "ZENworks Middle tier server login" from the properties of the Nal icon in the system tray, Naldesk.exe crashes.
cause
This will only happen when there is an invalid Mid Tier address stored in the registry
fix
Fixed in the NAL files dated 30 Jan 2004 or newer in ZfDAgent.msi version 4.00.1093.40329 or newer found at Novell Product Updates.
