symptom
Popout window prompts to delete the secret store on login after password change.
change
Identity Manager Password Policies have been installed and initialized to provide Password self help and hints. If the Universal Password is changed through the portal interface using the "Change Password" URL where one is prompted to enter old password and the new password then it will be is synched into the secret store and the popup will not be seen. If, however, the password is changed via the "Forgot Password" dialog then the password and secret store are out of synch.
cause
When a user changes his password through the "Forgot Password" dialog Secret Store is not passed the old password therefore it cannot sync the new password with the secret store credentials. On the next login that user will see a window popup asking whether he wants to remove the old secret store.
fix
Patch Fix: Manual Fix: 2. Bounce Tomcat and the popups should no longer appear.
To return to the Master TID please select Installing the new NMAS 2.3 Universal Password Policies and Self Service Forgotten Password enhancements
