8209 Errors on Post Office Agent

8209 Errors on Post Office Agent after updating GroupWise

POA logs shows four consecutive 8209 errors for version 5.5 GroupWise

POA logs shows two consecutive 8209 errors for GroupWise version is 6.5

note

The end users do not see an error and the client seems to function correctly for the entire GroupWise session.

This problem happens only in Client/Server mode

change

During the updating of the GroupWise system the file copy for the OFVIEWS directory received a corrupt file.

fix

Copy the OFVIEWS directory from the GroupWise CD root\client\OFVIEWS\win to the the Live Post Office \OFVIEWS\win.  All files currently in the OFVIEWS directory can safely be replaced by the files in the OFVIEWS directory from the CD.

In GroupWise 7 you can update the views of your post office in ConsoleOne | right click post office | groupwise utilties | system maint | refresh views
