symptom

-672 Error in DirXML Trace

Objects being modified or added from the application database are not being modified or added in eDirectory.

Message = createEntry: -672 ERR_NO_ACCESS on publisher channel.

cause

Driver object does not have rights to make the the modification or add.

An IRF was set preventing the rights from flowing down to where the object was being modified or added.

Problem would also have occurred if a membership assignment had either not been made or was made for an object with insufficient rights.

fix

Review the driver documentation for recommendations on appropriate assignments and make appropriate changes in the Memberships tab on the properties of the driver object.

Review what IRFs have been set before attempting the driver creation.
