fix
By default NetWare 6.5 uses TIMESYNC.NLM. You must configure XNTPD for your network based on what is sensible and reliable in your networking environment. Once you have configured your server to use XNTPD, you must edit the TimeServ.NCF file in the sys:\system\ directory to load XNTPD instead of TIMESYNC.NLM. This can be done following these steps. The TimeServ.NCF file is called in Load Stage 3 and tells the machine whether to load using TIMESYNC.NLM or XNTPD.
Step 1. load edit TimeServ.ncf
Step 2. Comment out the statement "LOAD Timesync" by putting a "#" character at the beginning of this line.
Step 3. Un-comment the statement "LOAD xntpd" by removing the "#" character at the beginning of the line.
Step 4. Save the changes to the TimeServ.ncf and it will automatically load XNTPD instead of TIMESYNC.NLM when you restart the machine.
