oninit: Failed to initialize shared memory segments
fix
You can query the shared memory segments on the server with the following command:
ipcs -ma
If all informix servers are offline then what is returned can be removed if owned by user informix. WARNING: if informix servers are still online then do not use the following command.
ipcrm -m SHARED_MEMORY_SEGMENT_ID
This will remove the shared memory segments. The informix server can then be brought back online.
