fix
When the content filtering account details are first configured on the Excelerator appliance, the administrator must enter in the URL provided by 8e6 Technologies. The file in this URL is the first file that Excelerator downloads. It is typically named XSTOP.CFG. XSTOP.CFG can be viewed in any web browser, provided that the proper login credentials are provided. These credentials are given to the administrator by 8e6 Technologies when an account is set up.
XSTOP.CFG is a configuration file. It gives the Excelerator appliance the URLs to download a content rating file, a full host list, a partial host list (this field is optional), the default download frequency, and the URL to the custom "blocked" page that will be vended to users when attempting to access filtered content.
The content rating file describes the different content categories, giving each category a label. The URL list files contain categorized lists of hosts and the categories that their content has been given. The default download frequency is D (daily).
The partial list is used to periodically update the content filters as new content is discovered and categorized.
