Novell ZENworks for Desktops (ZFD) 4.0

Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 Workstation SP6a

Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE) 5.5

symptom

Application log in Microsoft Event Viewer shows: "The shell stopped unexpectedly and explorer.exe was restarted"

After a while of launching NALDESK.EXE, Microsoft Windows Explorer crashes.

Icons in the system tray disappear.

Problem only happens in Windows NT 4.0 Sp6a machines. Not in Windows 2000 Professional.

Migration from ZfD 3.2 SP1 to ZfD 4.0

ZENworks for Desktops 4 Agent installed.

Install SP2 for Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5
