symptom
Unable to import Microsoft Windows 2000/XP SYSTEM.ADM file into ZENworks Extensible Policy.
C1 appears to hang when modifying a Microsoft Windows 2000/XP SYSTEM.ADM file that was added to a User or Workstation Extensible Policy.
C1 -debug -windowout reports the following when modifying the Microsoft Windows XP c:\windows\inf\system.adm file:
Read 1371006 bytes of adm file

fix
ZENworks for Desktops 3.2 Extensible Policies only provide support for ADM files written up to the 1.0 Specification. ZENworks for Desktops 3.2 Group Policies only provide support for ADM files written up to the 1.1 specification. The Microsoft Windows XP c:\windows\inf\system.adm file written to the 1.1 specification and can only be used by Group Policies. Standard Microsoft Group Policy adm files cannot be added to ZENworks Extensible Policies. See the help file in Microsoft Windows XP under System Policy Editor indicating that the System Policy Editor (poledit.exe) has been replaced by Group Policy.
