symptom

ERROR: "adding a network address property < IPX address>"

fact

Error occurs when running DSREPAIR

Server is configured for IP only

IPX Protocol is disabled

cause

NDS reads information from the Bindery and may be picking up the address from there.

fix

Set NCP enable IPX address = off
This will basically disable or remove the internal IPX network number. The internal IPX network number is also your server ID. Another way to stop referencing the internal IPX network number is to REM it out the server ID from the AUTOEXEC.NCF and reboot the server.
