Occurs when starting the GroupWise client

One machine had the problem

OS is Windows 2000

cause

In this case the customer had installed the GroupWise client on a machine using the Windows 2000 OS.  GroupWise has to run on top of Windows Messaging.  In this case Windows Messaging had not been installed prior to the GroupWise installation.

fix

The problem was resolved by removing the GroupWise client using the GroupWise Cleaning Agent (the user could not remove it by using Add/Remove Programs), then running NTWMS.EXE (please refer TID/Solution 2955774), then reinstalling GroupWise.  The Windows 2000 cd does not include the Windows Messaging install and the GroupWise CD used for installation only contain the 95/98 version of Windows Messaging.  

********Do not install the 95/98 version on a Windows 2000 box.
