Microsoft SQL 7 Server

symptom

Dr. Watson Error: "An application error has occurred and an application error log is being generated.  LSASS.EXE  Exception:  Access violation."

User's cannot login to NDS for NT after error occurs.

After PDC is rebooted users can login again.

Applying updated SAMSRV.DLL did not resolve the issue.

fix

Workaround:

Remove Microsoft SQL 7 from the Windows NT Server and use the above stated SAMSRV.DLL and the errors will be eliminated. Run Microsoft SQL 7 on a Windows NT member server.
