symptom
Error: "Invalid Deleted File", Volume Won't Mount
Error:"Server-4.00 433: Invalid deleted file. Volume SYS will not mount."
Error:"Server-4.11-433: Invalid deleted file."
Vrepair had been run 3 or 4 times on volume SYS, but it still would not mount.
cause
Some deleted files were corrupt.
fix
Load Vrepair. Select option "2", "Set Vrepair Options", and change option 4 from "Retain deleted files" to "Purge All Deleted Files". Then repair the volume. Once the deleted files are purged, the SYS volume should mount without errors.
