symptom

Error c05d "dependent store file does not exist on the disk"

Error: c05d

Message to administrator had the message file attached.

Administrator message had the following information:
Error that occurred: C05D-Dependent store file does not exist on the disk
Type of message:         Defer till late
Type of message:         Retrac
To requeue, save the last attachment to <post office path>\WPCSOUT\OFS\0

The POA displayed the following in the POA log (verbose mode)
The database facility reported error [C05D] on ngwdfr.db
Error: Dependent store file does not exist on the disk [C05D]
Mailing problem message to administrator

Structural Rebuild of NGWDFR.DB does not fix the problem.

cause

The NGWDFR.DB was corrupt.

fix

Delete NGWDFR.DB run structural rebuild (enter NGWDFR.DB for User/Resource) in GWCHECK.

If the file does not exist, run structural rebuild (enter NGWDFR.DB for User/Resource) in GWCHECK
NGWDFR.DB will be recreated the next time the POA receives a deferred delivery message.

Note: This file is found in the Post Office directory. In the subdirectory called OFMSG.
