Mapping to the server takes over one minute. While on a different NW4.11 server it takes 5-10 seconds.

cause

Filtering support enabled for TCP/IP and IPX protocols.

fix

Go into the INETCFG \ PROTOCOLS \ IPX and change the filter support from enabled to disabled. Do the same thing with the IP filter support then select to REINITIALIZE SERVER.
