Error: "Mirror copies of the volume directory do not match" during an inplace upgrade from NetWare 3.12 to NetWare 4.2.
Automatic VREPAIR runs on the SYS volume.
SYS volume will not mount.
Volume mounts before the upgrade.
Volume mounts after backing off the upgrade.
fix
Replace the Intel PD440FX motherboard with a different model. In this case the issue was resolved with an Intel SE440BX motherboard.
Troubleshooting steps: (The following was done in troubleshooting but did not resolve the issue.)
1) Swapped controllers.
2) Updated and replaced controller drivers.
2) Ran VREPAIR options 2 and 4 prior to the upgrade.
