How do I force Frequent Contacts Synchronization with GWCheck?

fact

The Readme for GWCK32.EXE dated 12/22/97 (SP2) says there is an option for: "Frequent Contacts Forced Synchronization by GWCheck."

fix

(As per TID 2937704 "Frequent Contacts Synchronization by GWCheck") "The way to access this feature is to create file called PABONLY.NGW file in the GWCheck directory.  There does not need to be anything in the file, it simply must exist. Run an Analyze/Fix Contents on the affected users. Mark only "Contents", "Fix problems" and "User"."

This feature is only available with GWCK32.EXE dated 12/22/97 or greater."

If you put the PABONLY.NGW in your sys\system directory then you are able to run the same check from NWAdmin, and it will fix the frequent contacts, but it will also do the rest of the checks.  - I need to verify that this file will stay in the sys\system directory, and that it will always work.

The automated maintenance appears to be working OK (according to the logs). The frequent contact synch problem was probably a timing issue. The logs indicate that the process was completing when it ran.  After a user is moved the maintenance needs a chance to run (in this case on Sunday) before the changes take place.
