GroupWise 4.1 Lotus Notes 4 Gateway for OS/2

symptom

OS/2 System Error SYS3175: "Cannot continue.  Program generated an access violation at WPORLIB.DLL"

Error:  "Message File Not Found".

fix

1.  In Lotus Notes 4.x, Name And Address Book (NAB) | Servers | Domains | Foreign Domain (this is the Foreign Domain created in Notes to communicate with GroupWise) | Foreign Domain Document (double click on the Foreign Domain).
2.  Change the name of the Gateway mail file name.  The Notes system will create a new Mail file name with the new name specified.
3.  Rename the following directories/files in the \gwdomain\WPGATE\NOTES directory structure:
    \WPCSOUT
    \WPCSIN
    \000.PRC
    \gwcorr.db
4.  Before restarting the gateway, verify that the \WPCSIN and \WPCSOUT directories have been recreated by the MTA.
5.  Restart the gateway.
