Install NFS Client in Windows for Workgroup

Symptom
User is installing the Windows driver of LWP NFS Client as an additional network in Windows for Workgroup (WFWG) 3.11. When WFWG reads the NFS Client diskette, it reports the error message:
"There are no additional networks listed in this OEMSETUP.INF file. Contact your network-adapter vendor for a new file."
Troubleshooting
User tried selecting "Windows support for the following network only" in the Network Setup of WFWG and select "Unlisted or Updated Network". Then WFWG could detect the "LWPNFS V3.0" drivers in the NFS Client diskette
This implies that there are something wrong with the WFWG setup information in the OEMSETUP.INF.
Cause
In the OEMSETUP.INF file on the NFS Client diskette, the section for WFWG driver reads:
[MultiNet]
bwnfs="LWP-NFS V3.0 (Network File System)",0x1000,0,0,sys$bwnfs1
In the WINNET.INF file of WFWG, the [MultiNet] section reads:
[MultiNet]
;key = description, net_type, exclusive,protocol id,install_section, style
...
other networks listed here
...
bwnfs="BW-NFS Network File System (version 3.0c)",0x1000,0,0,mn$bwnfs
The key for the Beame & Whiteside NFS driver is 'bwnfs', and the key for the LWP NFS Client driver in OEMSETUP.INF is also 'bwnfs'. Thus WFWG ignores that duplicated key in the OEMSETUP.INF and reports "no additional networks listed".
Solutions
1. Make a backup copy of the NFS Client diskette.
2. Bring up in a text editor OEMSETUP.INF on the backup diskette.
3. Search for the line:
bwnfs="LWP-NFS V3.0 (Network File System)",0x1000,0,0,sys$bwnfs1
4. Change the key 'bwnfs', on the left of the equal sign, to 'lwpnfs'.
5. Save the file
6. Install driver with the Network Setup options of WFWG again.
