PeachTree reports Lock Table Full

Symptom

When customer is in PeachTree and selects "System Posting" from the menu, the system will display "Lock Table Full"

Cause

Btrieve version 6.15.1 and greater is using a different method of file locking

Solutions

From the NW 3.x/4.x console:

:LOAD INSTALL
Choose System Options
Edit Autoexec.ncf File

Add this line:
  set maximum record locks per connection = 1200

ESC out and Exit INSTALL. For this parameter to take effect, either down the server and bring it back up or add the above SET parameter at the console prompt after adding it to the Autoexec.ncf.
