1.0  Bugs Fixed in This Patch

     This patch includes a fix for each of the following bugs following bugs have been fixed in this patch:

     -  Bug 794307- "[Imported workloads; customer has option to apply billing to additional disks]"


2.0  Files Included in This Patch

     The following files are included in Cloud Manager 2.1.4 Patch 1:

     -  "cloudmanager.war"


3.0  Patch Installation Prerequisites

     Ensure that the following prerequisites are met before you install this patch:

     -  Cloud Manager Application Server 2.1.4 is installed and is up and running.

         1. Log in to the NetIQ Cloud Manager Application Server Web Console.

         2. In the Web Console, click HelpAbout.

         3. In the About box, verify that the following is displayed:

     -  Download the Cloud Manager 2.1.4 Patch 2 file ("cloudmanager.war") into a directory on the Cloud
        Manager Application Server. For example: "/tmp/ncm2.1.4_patch/linux/final/cloudmanager.war".


4.0  Installing the Patch

     After you have copied the patch file to the server, use the following steps to install the file:

      1. Back up the current
         "/opt/netiq/cloudmanager/system/com/novell/cm/ui/cloudmanager/2.1.4/cloudmanager-2.1.4.war" file.

         For example, you could use the following command to save a backup:

         cp /opt/netiq/cloudmanager/system/com/novell/cm/ui/cloudmanager/2.1.4/cloudmanager-2.1.4.war
         /cloudmanager_backup_files/cloudmanager-2.1.4.war.orig

      2. Copy the 2.1.4 Patch 2 ".war" file from the temporary directory where you downloaded the patch file to
         "/opt/netiq/cloudmanager/system/com/novell/cm/ui/cloudmanager/2.1.4/cloudmanager-2.1.4.war".

         For example, you could use the following command to copy the patch file to the correct directory:

         cp /tmp/ncm2.1.4_patch/linux/final/cloudmanager.war
         opt/netiq/cloudmanager/system/com/novell/cm/ui/cloudmanager/2.1.4/cloudmanager-2.1.4.war

         NOTE: Ensure that you overwrite the existing file of the same name, if it exists.

      3. Restart the Cloud Manager service with the reload option to clear the cache and force the new ".war"
         file to take effect:

         /etc/init.d/netiq-cloudmanager reload

         NOTE: You should wait approximately two minutes after you execute the reload command before you
         attempt to log in to Cloud Manager again. This provides time for the Orchestration Web service to
         fully reload.

      4. Verify that the new ".war" file is installed.

          4.a. Log in to the Cloud Manager Web Console.

          4.b. In the Web Console, click Help > About.

          4.c. In the About box, verify that the following information is displayed.
