This patch contains a utility AgentCleanup.exe which can be used to "clean up" a failed ZCM 10 Agent install, if it cannot be uninstalled by other means, in order for a reinstall to be attempted. Version 1.1 has several improvements over the previous version.
details
Overview: There are occasions when a ZCM 10 Agent installation fails on a managed device, and cannot be uninstalled by other means. This utility can be used to "clean up" the managed device so that a reinstallation can be attempted.
System Requirements: Managed Windows device (i.e., Windows workstation). This version has been tested on ZCM 10.0-10.3.0
Installation: extract the executable and the readme from the zip file. Follow the instructions in the readme. Note that this must be run as an administrator, and a reboot of the workstation is required after running the utility.
Uninstalling: delete the files
Known Problems and Limitations: This should not be used to attempt to remove the agent from a Primary server, or from a Satellite server before the satellite roles have been removed.
