prerequisites/installation instructions
This plug-in works with iManager 2.7.
If you are attempting to run this plug-in on a 64-bit operating system, you must have the "compat-32bit" rpm package installed on the server.
There are two ways you can install plug-ins in iManager. The preferred way is to use the integrated plug-in download feature from within iManager using the following steps:
1. Log in to iManager where the plug-in is to be installed.
2. Click the Configure icon.
3. Click Plug-in Installation > Available Novell Plug-in Modules.
4. If iManager is able to access www.novell.com, it will automatically list the latest plug-ins available for iManager.
5. Locate the plug-in(s) you wish to install. Place a checkmark next to the plug-in(s), then click Install.
NOTE: If the plug-in does not show up in the list of Available Plug-in Modules, you may want to check that the plug-in is not already installed by clicking the Installed Novell Plug-in Modules link. Even though you may already have the plug-in installed, if a newer version is available, it will show up in the Available list. It is also possible that the plug-in you are trying to install is not supported on the platform that iManager is running on.
6. Restart Tomcat.
If you want to install the plug-in manually, use the following steps:
1. Log in to iManager where the plug-in is to be installed.
2. Click the Configure icon.
3. Click Plug-in Installation > Available Novell Plug-in Modules > Add.
4. Browse for the .npm file you downloaded. Select it, then click OK.
5. Select the check box next to the .npm file.
6. Click Install.
7. Restart Tomcat.
