Overview: ZENworks 7 Desktop Management on Linux Support Pack 1 Interim Release 3a Hot Patch 2 contains files that were updated for ZENworks 7 Desktop Management after the SP1 IR3a release

System Requirements: This hot patch requires that ZDML 7 SP1 IR3a has already been applied to the server.

Installation:
Upgrading to ZDML 7 SP1 IR3a HP2 from ZDML 7 SP1 IR3a or ZDML 7 SP1 IR3a HP1

1.Download the Hot Patch and extract the contents of the zip file to a new directory.

2.Run the following command to shut all services down:
/opt/novell/zenworks/bin/ZDMstop

3.From the directory where you extracted the contents of the zip file, run the following command to upgrade all of the ZENworks components that were previously installed:
rpm -Fvh *.rpm

4.Run the following command to start all ZENworks Desktop Management services:
/opt/novell/zenworks/bin/ZDMstart

5.Start /etc/init.d/novell-zdm-inv if it is in any state other than running.
Start /etc/init.d/novell-zdm-wol if it is in any state other than running.
