This patch will update the Novell ZENworks Patch Management 6.4 Server to Support Pack 1. General fixes to ZPM Update Server. Please view TID #7000079 for list of fixes.

Overview:
ZPM Update Server 6.4 Support Pack 1 is an update to ZPM 6.4. This update is an MSI that can be applied manually to the PLUS server.

System Requirements:
Requires ZPM 6.4.

Installation:
1. Download the installer and save it to the Update Server.
2. Execute the Novell_ZENworks_Patch_Management_Server_6.4_Service_Pack_1.msi and follow any dialogues presented..

Uninstalling:
This Support Pack can not be uninstalled, it can be re-installed.

NOTE:
There is an issue that may occur on Update Servers during installation of Update Server Service Pack 1 when the Replication Service cannot be stopped.

Symptoms
Installation of Update Server 6.4 Service Pack 1 fails and rolls back the upgrade.

Cause
The Replication Service is still active and cannot be stopped or removed during Update Server 6.4 Service Pack 1 installation.

Resolution

1. Stop the Replication Service manually before applying Update Server 6.4 Service Pack 1.
2. If a failure occurred, remove the Update Server 6.4 Service Pack 1 log file before re-attempting using the following CMD prompt command from the root of the drive (e.g., C:\):

del /s /q patch1.log
