This patch adds the capability to automatically group workstations by IP address within ZENworks Patch Management 6.4 See TID 3213973 for details.

details

Overview: Grouping hierarchy feature allows ZENworks Patch Management Administrators to management their computers in an organized manner. It is typical for a company to use specific IP address ranges to organize computers within a network environment. Managing sets of computers based on IP address ranges helps simplify system management.

System Requirements: ZENworks Patch Management 6.4 with at least the P-2 Cumulative patch (see TID 3276888)

Installation: Download the MSI to the ZPM server and execute. Installers must have administrator rights.

Uninstalling: Remove the component via add/remove programs

Known Problems and Limitations: IP Grouping feature will only auto group Microsoft Windows platforms.
