ZENworks 7 Desktop Management Support Pack 1 Interim Release 1 Hot Patch 1 requires ZENworks 7 Desktop Management 7 Support Pack 1 Interim Release 1, has undergone limited testing, is not considered a minimum or mandatory patch and is only recommended if the symptoms listed in TID 3484245 at http://www.novell.com/support apply to your environment.

Overview:

***Note: If you are using PXE for imaging SP 1 Hot Patch 2 or newer must have been applied or the server will have to be updated to IR1 Hot Patch 1 prior to using the PXE resource files from ZDM7SP1IR1_HP1_Img_Resource_Files.zip. If a quick test on whether the hardware will be recognized by the ZENworks Imaging kernel with out any update to the ZENworks server, use the bootcd.iso first for the testing of the hardware.

File locations for PXE files can be found at:

Rename the old PXE files and replace them with the ones in the IR1HP1_Imaging_Resource file.

ZDM7SP1IR1HP1 is not a full install and will only update ZENworks components that were previously installed.

System Requirements:
This Hot Patch requires ZENworks 7 Desktop Management Support Pack 1
For other system requirements, see the ZENworks 7 Desktop Management Documentation
It is not necessary to apply previous SP1 Hot Patches prior to installing ZDM7SP1IR1HP1.

Installation:
Unzip the Hot Patch and run winsetup.exe

Uninstalling:
See the ZENworks documentation at ZENworks 7 Desktop Management Documentation for components of ZENworks that can be uninstalled.
