Access Manager 3 Support Pack 1 Interim release 1 This file contains updates for services contained in the Access Manager 3 Support Pack 1 release. Novell recommends that customers on Access Manager 3 release code apply this. The purpose of the patch is to provide a bundle of fixes for issues that have surfaced since Novell Access Manager 3 Support Pack 1 was released. These fixes currently only include updates to the Linux Access Gateway.

Overview: This Novell Access Manager 3 Support Pack 1 Interim release 1 patch readme contains a list of installation instructions in order to successfully apply the patch, as well as a description of the issues fixed in it.
System Requirements: Patch needs to be decompressed and copied to an FTP or Web server. The Linux Access Gateway will download these files from the Web server when the upgrade process is started on these Access gateway server (more detailed instructions in below).
Before installing any of the included patches, make sure that a backup of the existing configuration works before proceeding. To do this, run the /opt/novell/devman/bin/ambkup.sh file on the Access Administrator server and generate and save the corresponding LDIF and ZIP files.
Installation: Once the Linux Access Gateway update has been copied over to a Web server, as detailed above, the component updates can performed. For a detailed list of the steps required to update the Access Gateways, Identity Servers, SSLVPN and Administration server, go to our online Upgrade link.
Problems fixed and known issues : For the list of issues fixed in the Support Pack 1 Interim Release 1 build, and a list of known issues, please look at the online readme link.
