This field patch is an accumulative patch with the following fixes and improvements since the 3.1.1 support release:

Current Issues:
This field patch solves a problem on hpux trusted mode platforms using the UPDATEPASSWORD directive where password changes could be missed if the user has longer than eight character passwords that differ only beyond the eighth character.

Previous Issues:
- Fixed a buffer overflow problem in PAM, which may cause your PAM-enabled application to segmentation fault.

- Fixed password synchronization bug, where invalid crypts can be generated by asamrcvr

- Added support for FILEIPC, which can support larger amounts of data available to the scripts than environment variables.

To activate FILEIPC, insert the following directive into asamplat.conf:
USEFILEIPC

- Fixed a typo in receiver script.

- Fixed PAM module to react to Intruder Lockout in the same way Login Disabled is treated.
